Below is a general 2 step process LongForza uses in aiding our clients in selecting the right drilling bit the first time.

1. GATHER WELL INFORMATION
Identify your customer’s objectives, acquire any offset bit records, geological information (compressive strength data, mudlog data, logging information), drilling constraints and cost information.  Make sure all data used is current and up to date with our client.

2. MAKING THE BIT SELECTION  
Identify the cutting structure and bearing package required to meet our clients objectives.  Make the proper selection of nozzle sizes to insure effective bit cleaning (drilling bit hydraulics) and cooling during drilling.
